The first trailer is here for The Death of Bunny Munro, the Matt Smith–helmed TV adaptation of Nick Cave’s 2009 novel of the same name. The trailer shows Smith as the titular character, a door-to-door salesman who embarks on a debauched road trip with his young son while dealing with sex addiction and his wife’s suicide. Scored by Cave and Warren Ellis, the six-part series arrives on Thursday, November 20.
Writer Pete Jackson adapted the book, with Isabella Eklöf directing; Sarah Greene stars as Munro’s late wife, Libby, and Rafael Mathé makes his TV debut as his son. Cave and Smith executive-produced the series for Sky Original, which will present the series via Sky TV and the UK streaming service Now.
