Brooklyn Beckham reportedly took the first dance at his wedding with his mom Victoria Beckham instead of his wife Nicola Peltz.
Three years after the couple tied the knot in April 2022 at a black-tie affair held on Peltz’s family estate in Palm Beach, Florida, a video has surfaced showing Victoria, 51, dancing with Brooklyn, 26, during what was allegedly meant to be the first dance with Nicola, 30.
The resurfaced video comes weeks after a source told PEOPLE that there are “tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola and the family.”
“The relationship is definitely not beyond repair. They love and are always there for him. They’re just hurt and disappointed that he’s now playing no part in family life,” the source said.

News of the alleged family rift came weeks after Brooklyn and Nicola were notably absent from family functions, including David’s 50th birthday dinner in London.
In attendance at the star-studded event in May were stars such as Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria and Gordon Ramsay.
David and Victoria also hosted an elegant family celebration, as documented on Instagram, which showed their three other kids, sons Romeo Beckham, 22, Cruz Beckham, 20, and daughter Harper Beckham, 13, in attendance.
Days later, Victoria posted a group photo on her Instagram Stories that included Brooklyn.
“We both love you all so much,” Victoria wrote over the Monday, May 19, post, seemingly speaking for herself and David.
Nicola has also been active on social media, sharing a series of photos from a picnic date with Brooklyn on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, May 21.
“Best kind of night,” Nicola wrote across one of the images while she added, “I love you so much, baby,” across the image of Brooklyn lying on the grass wearing a baseball cap and a T-Shirt bearing the logo of his hot sauce brand, Cloud 23.

An earlier Instagram Story post from her showed an angel figure alongside which the star had written, “Thankful for the angels in my life.”
On Saturday, May 24, Brooklyn declared his love for Nicola next to an Instagram clip of the two riding a motorcycle. The video was soundtracked by Lana Del Rey‘s track “National Anthem.”
“My whole world x. I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby❤️❤️,” Brooklyn captioned the post.
