Travis Scott has shared a release date for his long-teased Jackboys 2 project. A graphic posted to Scott’s X and Instagram accounts reveals that the sequel to 2019’s Cactus Jack label compilation Jackboys is set to drop this Sunday, July 13. The poster also reads “The Jack is back with 17 new tracks full of trunk rattling classics in the making. Hosted by Bun B of UGK.” Check it out below.
Jackboys 2 has been available to preorder on Scott’s website since May. Earlier this week, he put out a video for a new track, “2000 Excursion,” which is credited to “Jackboys & Travis Scott” and features Sheck Wes and Don Toliver. A full guestlist for the album hasn’t been announced, but artists such as Glorilla, Kodak Black, Tyla, Waka Flocka Flame, 21 Savage, and SahBabii have teased their involvement by posting photos of Jackboys 2-branded Lamborghinis sent to them by Scott. The original Jackboys included contributions from Rosalía, Young Thug, and Offset, among others.
Scott’s latest studio album, Utopia, came out in 2023. Since then, he reissued his mixtape Days Before Rodeo for its 10th anniversary and, in January, released the one-off single “4X4” after performing the song during halftime at the 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship. Scott was one of the headliners at Coachella 2025.
