Describing the happenings as “a dazzling soirée,” Swift wrote on Instagram that Swifties will enjoy “never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made” the “Ophelia” video plus “cut-by-cut explanations of what inspired this music and brand new lyric videos” from other new album songs.

Tickets are on sale now for AMC Theaters screenings and hundreds of others around the globe. Having dealt with zesty throngs of Swift fans when her Eras Tour film was released theatrically in 2023, AMC says “guests are welcome to sing and dance during” the screenings despite such activities being “normally prohibited during traditional showtime. To help ensure everyone’s enjoyment of the show, guests may not stand on seats or block any aisles or stairs.”

The Life of a Showgirl was produced by Max Martin and Shellback, the Swedish powerhouses who previously contributed to such Swift projects as Red and Reputation. “These guys, they’re just geniuses in different avenues and different ways,” Swift said last month on the New Heights podcast co-hosted by her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce. “We had so much more dexterity to what we do. It’s almost like we’d all grown up so much. Shellback and I were in our early 20s when we started working together. This was the time when all three of us in the room were carrying the same weight as creators. We knew we had to bring the best ideas we’ve ever had. That effervescence has come through on this record. This is the record I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time — 12 songs for my 12th album.”‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌

Swift has been off the road this year while working on new material and completing the acquisition of the rights to her entire music catalog, which were controversially sold to a third party in 2019. She and Kelce were engaged in late August.
