Soulja Boy Accuser Testifies About Inhumane Abuse, Rape

Soulja Boy‘s rape accuser took the stand during the rapper’s civil trial yesterday and gave a shocking testimony about the physical and emotional abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of the rapper.

Soulja Boy Trial Continues

On Wednesday (March 26), Soulja Boy’s trial continued with testimony from the woman accusing him of multiple heinous crimes, Rolling Stone reports. The anonymous accuser says she and Soulja Boy began dating in 2019 after she worked as his personal assistant. Shortly after they started a romantic relationship, the woman claims the rapper became commanding and abusive. She claims the rapper isolated her at his Malibu, Calif. home, took her driver’s license and withheld food from her, causing her to drastically lose weight.

In addition to the mental and physical abuse, Doe claims Soulja sexually abused her on multiple occasions, including one time in 2019 when she claims he raped her during a police raid on his home and another time in 2020 after she’d finally left the home and returned to gather her belongings.

“I feared for my life,” Doe told the jury, adding that Soulja Boy, born DeAndre Way, threatened to “send shooters” to the house. “I was scared of what he would do to my family. I didn’t want him to hurt anybody because of me,” she testified.

Doe cried on the stand while delivering her testimony. “I didn’t even feel human anymore. I felt like an animal,” she said.

Soulja Boy and his legal team are denying any wrongdoing and calling the lawsuit, which was filed in 2021, a money grab and revenge plot.

“The plaintiff’s claim is not supported by reliable evidence,” Soulja Boy’s attorney Rickey Ivie said during opening statements. “The claims are driven by the ulterior motives of jealousy, revenge, and financial gain.”

The trial will continue today (March 27), with a cross-examination of the accuser. It is unclear if Soulja Boy will testify.
