In its second year at its new location in Northern Arizona’s blissful Playa Ponderosa, Desert Hearts Festival proved yet again why it’s considered one of the tightest knit families in dance music. Nestled within the world’s largest ponderosa pine forest, some of today’s (and tomorrow’s) most notable artists delivered their inspired sets at 7,000 feet elevation.
Desert Hearts and Walter Productions continued the 10-year relationship they started at Burning Man, showcasing an array of art cars led by Walter, a fire truck turned world’s largest VW Bus. Other art cars included Heathen, Big Red, Fuzzy Bunny, Torch the Dragon, The Quesadilla Armadilla, The Giving Tree, Papi Gallo, Shenanigan Wagon, and OTG’s newly revived The Scarab.
