Sauce Walka and Sayso P Shooting Suspect Found Dead in Houston


The Memphis Police Department has announced that one of the suspects in the Sauce Walka and Sayso P shooting has been found dead.

Man Who Shot Sauce Walka Turns Up Dead

On Monday (March 31), the MPD provided an update into the ongoing investigation of the March 22 shooting by revealing that Jayden Dandridge has been “found deceased in Houston.” The announcement comes five days after Dandridge was named a suspect in the downtown Memphis shooting that left Sauce Walka wounded and took the life of his The Sauce Factory artist Sayso P.

The MPD has also identified the second shooting suspect as 22-year-old Kevin Brown. Police have issued a warrant for his arrest and charged him with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony and theft of property $10,000-$60,000.

Sauce Walka Recovering After Shooting

Sauce Walka and Sayso P were shot while standing outside the Westin Hotel across from the FedEx Forum in downtown Memphis on March 22. Video of the shooting has since surfaced that shows three men hopping out of a white Dodge Charger with rifles before two of the men shoot at the rappers. Sayso P was fatally wounded during the shooting, while Sauce suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and is currently recovering.

In the wake of the shooting, Sauce appeared to have no malice about the incident. “R.I.P. Sayso P,” the Houston rapper said in a video shared on social media. “In the name of my brother. I love Memphis. I love y’all. I have no hard feelings.”
