Sabrina Carpenter Announces New Album Man’s Best Friend

Sabrina Carpenter has announced a new album. She’ll follow last year’s Short n’ Sweet with Man’s Best Friend on August 29. See the album cover below.

Carpenter released her new album’s lead single, “Manchild,” last week. She co-wrote the song with frequent collaborators Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen.

While Short n’ Sweet was Carpenter’s sixth solo studio album (with her debut, Eyes Wide Open, arriving way back in 2015), it marked a true breakout moment for the Pennsylvania-born musician. The album housed the hit singles “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” and became Carpenter’s first full-length to summit the Billboard 200. She also earned her first six Grammy nominations, thanks to the album and its singles. Ultimately, Carpenter won the 2025 Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance (for “Espresso”).

Carpenter recently performed at Primavera Sound Barcelona. After imminent shows in London and Chicago, she’ll continue her Short N’ Sweet Tour in the autumn. Support on the North American tour will come from Olivia Dean, Amber Mark, and Ravyn Lenae.
