Rosalía will make a grand re-entry next month with her fourth album, LUX, which is due Nov. 7 from Columbia. The project was unveiled last night (Oct. 20) around Madrid’s Gran Via, where the lights were turned off and on while revealing the official album artwork (see below).
LUX was recorded with the London Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Daníel Bjarnason and features such vocalists as Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, the Escolania de Montserrat i Cor Cambra Palau de la Música Catalana, Yahritza and Yves Tumor.
Per Columbia, “the album traces a widescreen emotional arc of feminine mystique, transformation, and transcendence — moving between intimacy and operatic scale to create a radiant world where sound, language and culture fuse as one.”
LUX will feature three exclusive tracks on its CD and vinyl editions, which can be pre-ordered here. It’s the followup to 2022’s MOTOMAMI, which topped charts in Spain and Portugal and reached No. 1 on Billboard‘s Latin Pop Albums chart.
After starring in Calvin Klein’s fall 2025 campaign, Rosalía will make her acting debut next year in the third season of HBO’s Euphoria.
