Pitchfork and Rough Trade are announcing a live event to celebrate the release of Pitchfork’s third zine of the year. The event takes place on Wednesday, October 8, at Rough Trade Below, which is on the concourse level of 30 Rockefeller Center, New York, NY 10112. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and the main event begins at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
Pitchfork’s new zine complements senior editor Anna Gaca’s new cover story on Oklou. The event will feature Gaca in conversation with the French musician. At Rough Trade Below, Gaca and Oklou will discuss the zine, the making of her cover story, the upcoming deluxe edition of Oklou’s album Choke Enough, and more. Preview the zine below.
Attendees must purchase a ticket to the event in order to attend. Tickets include a free copy of the Oklou zine. Once inside Rough Trade Below, attendees can buy up to two zines at the event while supplies last. Tickets to the event are on sale here.

For those who can’t grab a zine at the Rough Trade Below event, the zines will be available to purchase online via the Rough Trade website starting October 9. They’ll be available for in-person purchase, too, at Rough Trade’s New York City location, beginning that same day. Zines cost $30.
Earlier this year, Pitchfork and AdHoc hosted a launch event for the Bladee zine, which was captured by an on-site photographer. Revisit the rapper’s cover story. Pitchfork and AdHoc also celebrated the Turnstile cover story with a detailed zine and launch event, featuring the band in person for a special interview. Head here to see what happened at that event.
