The emotive Baltimore punks Pinkshift released their album Earthkeeper earlier this year, and the followed it by releasing the single “Authority Problem” and a live cover of Slipknot’s “Eyeless.” Now, we’re getting one last Pinkshift track before the year is out. It’s a pretty, shimmery, largely acoustic song called “Snow.” I don’t know whether it counts as a holiday song, but a case could be made. Listen below.
In other news, Baltimore institution the Ottobar, my favorite venue on the planet, recently got Pinkshift to play outdoor at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, which is crazy to think about. My friend Tracy Conway works at the Ottobar, and he filmed and edited a really cool video of their set.
Earthkeeper is out 1/16 on Hopeless. Pinkshift will play the whole album in a special 1/16 show at the Ottobar.
