Pete Davidson Attends Knicks Game with Girlfriend Elsie Hewitt After Moving in Together

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt had a sporty date night!

On Friday, May 16, the couple were photographed sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden in New York City alongside a group of other celebrities, as they enjoyed one of their first public nights out since a source told PEOPLE that they are living together.

Davidson, 31, wore a light gray hoodie, a blue T-shirt, jeans and a baseball hat as the Knicks took on the Boston Celtics, beating them 119-81. Meanwhile, Hewitt, 29, sported a black pinstriped strapless top and a purple and red jacket. Her hair was slicked back into a bun.

The pair sat near several stars, including Timothée Chalamet, Bad Bunny and Ben Stiller.

A source exclusively told PEOPLE earlier this week that the Saturday Night Live alum and the model have moved in together, about two months after confirming that they are dating.

“Pete and Elsie have been living together in New York for the past few months,” the source said. “They’re splitting their time between Pete’s house in upstate New York and a brownstone they recently started renting in Brooklyn.”

“They’re so happy together and doing great,” the insider added.

The couple also recently made their red carpet debut together on Thursday, May 15, at the Endometriosis Foundation of America’s 13th Annual Blossom Ball in N.Y.C. At the event, Hewitt opened up to PEOPLE about her relationship with Davidson.

“He is so incredible,” she said. “Honestly, best person I’ve ever met, and I’m so grateful that he’s here tonight.”

In March, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Davidson and Hewitt were dating after they were spotted packing on the PDA while swimming on the beach during a getaway in Palm Beach, Fla.

Then, just days after photos of them kissing in the ocean circulated, Hewitt went Instagram official with the comedian, posting a video of Davidson laughing in a bathrobe as a retro Rugrats episode played on a TV.

The couple also recently traveled to Scotland for Dave Navarro’s wedding, and Hewitt shared a carousel of photos from the trip on Instagram. The upload included a sweet video of the two walking and Davidson kissing her forehead.

The new romance comes eight months after Davidson’s split from Outer Banks actress Madelyn Cline. 

Meanwhile, Hewitt was most recently linked to actor Jason Sudeikis, per photos obtained by Page Six in January 2024. She also previously dated Ryan Phillippe.

Davidson has opened up about the public’s fascination with his dating life. In a conversation with Jon Berthnal for The Walking Dead alum’s Real Ones podcast, he joked that he doesn’t think the topic is “interesting.”

“I’m in my 20s and I’ve dated people. And for some reason, that’s very crazy and interesting to people. I don’t think it’s interesting,” he said in March 2023. “I’ve been in show business for, like, half my life almost — for 14 or 15 years and on a national TV show. In 12 years, I’ve dated 10 people.” 

Davidson added: “I don’t think that’s that crazy, but to some people, that’s very interesting. That became all anyone would talk about. I’m not, like, flexing, you know what I mean? And these people that I’ve dated, I met them at work.”
