Paul Anka started out as a teen idol in the ’50s before embarking on a near-endless career as a Las Vegas entertainment fixture. Along the way, Anka, now 84, became one of the diminishing number of living people who can claim to have seen Frank Sinatra’s penis in the flesh. Now, Anka has gone on record about Sinatra’s junk, causing us to use our “breaks legendary silence” headline convention for the first time in a while.
Frank Sinatra’s penis has been a subject of public interest for a very long time. Word around the campfire is that Ol’ Blue Eyes could’ve called himself Ol’ Big Hog. Ava Gardner, Sinatra’s second wife, once claimed that he had a 19-pound prick, which frankly raises more questions than it answers. As in: Did she get out a scale and weigh it? How did that work?
Paul Anka famously wrote “My Way,” a huge 1969 hit for Sinatra. Anka was 24 when he adapted the French-language track “Comme d’habitude.” That experience led Anka to hang out with the Rat Pack in Las Vegas. They took saunas at the same time, which means that he got a good look at what Sinatra was packing.
Anka is the subject of a new HBO documentary called Paul Anka: My Way, and he’s got a new album on the way next year. That’s why Anka did a recent interview with Page Six and confirmed those Frank Sinatra dong-size reports. (Salute to Page Six, always on brand, for asking this particular question.) Anka says, “Yeah, it was huge. I don’t know what that does for you!”
Anka goes on to report that he “had trouble with eye contact” after seeing Sinatra’s situation but that Sinatra still wasn’t hung as low as the comedian Milton Berle, whose dick size was the stuff of Hollywood legend. Anka says, “Crazy, of all people, Milton Berle!” He is not the first person to express that sentiment.
