Noah Cyrus shared a glimpse of her low-key Easter with mom Tish Cyrus following their recent family drama.
“Easter egg hunt with mommy,” Noah, 25, captioned a sweet Instagram Story video on Sunday, April 20, showing Tish, 57, running through a yard. In a subsequent clip, Tish spotted a colored egg, holding it proudly in the air before placing it in her basket.
Tish reshared her daughter’s video via her own Instagram Story on Sunday, adding a handful of pink heart emojis.
The mother-daughter duo have been spending quality time together lately despite facing tension in recent years. Us Weekly broke the news in March 2024 that Noah was romantically involved with her mom’s now-husband, Dominic Purcell, for several months before he began dating Tish. When Purcell, 55, and Tish tied the knot in August 2023, Noah was not present.
While Noah and Tish haven’t directly addressed their fractured bond, a source exclusively told Us in August 2024 that the pair were “working on rebuilding their relationship.”
“It’s been a slow burn and has been very up and down the last several months, but Noah has been more open to the idea of having Tish in her life again,” the insider said at the time.
The twosome have also been showcasing their connection via social media, with Noah joining her mom in a TikTok video earlier this month. Noah later sat down with Tish for an in-depth interview on the “Sorry We’re Cyrus” podcast, where she got candid about her love life.
“I always wanted to get married, like, every relationship I’ve had I’ve thought about marrying them,” Noah told her mom on the Thursday, April 17, episode. “My explanation was always, ‘Well, my mom had her first kid by the time she was 21.’ I don’t think of that as, like, an ‘oopsie age.’”
Noah is Tish’s youngest child with ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus, to whom she was married from 1993 to 2022. The former couple also share daughter Miley Cyrus and son Braison Cyrus, and Billy Ray adopted Tish’s two eldest kids, Brandi and Trace Cyrus, from a past relationship. (Billy Ray is also the father of son Christopher with Kristin Luckey.)

Billy Ray’s children have not appeared to address the relationship debut, but Hurley’s son, Damian, shared his support in the comments section of his mom’s post, writing, “🥳♥️.”
Along with Tish, Billy Ray was married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991 and to Firerose for seven months in 2023. Hurley, meanwhile, was married to Arun Nayar from 2008 to 2010. She shares Damian, 23, with late producer Stephen Bing.
