New Taylor Swift Album Theory Just Dropped

When Taylor Swift posts on Instagram after 100 days of silence, you know Swifties are going to show up with their magnifying glasses.

On Saturday, March 22, the 35-year-old pop superstar ended her social media hiatus with an Instagram Story shouting out Selena Gomez’s new album with Benny Blanco.

More from Spin:

“@selenagomez & @itsbennyblanco I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD,” Swift wrote, linking to the new release, I Said I Love You First.

But fans didn’t just see a supportive BFF move — they saw Easter eggs.

Notably, the “Blank Space” singer used exactly 12 D’s in the word “GOD,” and for fans patiently waiting on album No. 12 (aka TS12), that number stood out.

“Rumors are once again swirling about TS12 being the next release after her break!” one fan page wrote on Instagram. Of course, it didn’t take long for the internet to weigh in.

“I love the fast that she makes us starve for rep tv. As a fandom we’ve been insufferable asking for it,” one person wrote.

“Aka once again swifties are possibly overanalyzing everything 😅,” another said.

“If it was me, I’d release 12 then start my own record label and fully own my name and reputation,” chimed in a third.

“I mean. Can you imagine how much inspiration she has for this next album? 😍,” someone else pointed out.

“The girl probably is working on her music but I don’t believe she’s planning anything soon. She’s better with the Easter eggs,” added another.

For those not in the loop, “Rep TV” refers to Reputation (Taylor’s Version) — Swift’s yet-to-be-released re-recording of her 2017 album. The award-winning artist is re-recording her first six albums after losing the rights to the original masters in 2019. Fans have been on high alert for clues, especially after Swift wore a gold snake necklace at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday, March 17 — a subtle nod to her original Reputation era.
