The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck is showing off her postpartum body — and, naturally, dancing in the hospital room — just days after giving birth.
Jen, 26, announced on Wednesday, July 2, that she gave birth to her and husband Zac Affleck’s third baby, Penelope. Since then, Jen has been documenting her time in the hospital.
“My pelvic floor might not be ready… but I sure am 👀💃🪩,” Jen captioned a TikTok,celebrating her Dancing With the Stars casting while Zac, 28, held their newborn in her hospital bed. (Both Jen and costar Whitney Leavitt will be season 34 of DWTS in the fall.)
Zac was asked why he looked like he was “the one who gave birth,” to which he quipped, “She set me up! Said go sit in bed and hold the baby! Next thing I know she is dancing again.”
Jen subsequently uploaded photos of her holding her daughter while wearing a bra and a postpartum diaper.
“Even though she’s my third baby I’m just as in awe, as if it was the first time,” she wrote alongside the sweet Instagram post on Monday, July 7. Jen also shared a video from home one week after delivering her baby and she posed for the camera while showing off her stomach.

Jen and Zac, who got married in 2019, are also parents to kids Nora, 2, and Luca, 22 months. Their marriage has been at the center of Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which premiered in September 2024. Before season 2 aired in May, Jen directly addressed viewers who called her third pregnancy a “band-aid baby” after her brief separation from Zac.
“I know a lot of people call it a band-aid baby. They can call it whatever. But truly finding out where pregnant was the biggest blessing,” she exclusively told Us Weekly before season 2 debuted. “I definitely think that I wasn’t in the right headspace during season 2 — and I’m not sure that my priorities were straight either.”
Jen said she was thankful for how her third pregnancy “forced” her to get her “priorities straight.”
“It’s definitely changed [things] a lot. Truthfully, finding out we were pregnant was the last thing we expected,” she admitted. “It was truly shocking when we found out. It also made us worried and stressed because of everything we were facing in our marriage during that time.”
At the time, Jen noted that season 2 documented “the worst of what happened in our relationship,” adding, “But again, it is all things that we’re grateful for and I hope we can talk more about it after everyone has seen season 2. I haven’t seen season 2 so I don’t really know what happens. There is effort on both ends of a relationship and you’re both willing to put in that work. You can always make it work and that’s kind of what happens.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is currently streaming on Hulu.
