Meghan Trainor Speaks About Her Dramatic Body Transformation

Meghan Trainor is updating her fans on her health and fitness journey.

While attending the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event on Saturday, March 29, Trainor, 31, said she is “trying all the things” as she discussed her body transformation, sharing that “science is the secret” to her new look.

“I learned a lot of tricks that I had no idea [about],” the singer told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet. “I was working out so incorrectly for so long. I was running and doing cardio and my body was inflamed, always.”

The “Whoops” singer noted that she is currently trying to “biohack” her body in an attempt to slow down the process of getting older.

“So anything that’ll help me age backward, I’m into it,” Trainor told ET. “I just learned about the NADs [food supplement capsules]. I was like, ‘make me Hailey Bieber, I’ll do it, I’ll take it’ … I’m trying all the things. I love a doctor explaining stuff to me.”

Trainor looked sensational at the Billboard event on Saturday in a fitted black dress with a long sheer skirt by Sami Miro Vintage. The singer, who won the hitmaker award at the ceremony, posted photos on Instagram afterward sharing her excitement at her look.

“I felt like a real-life princess last night! Thank you @billboard for the incredible honor of being your hitmaker🖤 I am nothing without all the strong, brilliant, badass women on my teams…” the mom-of-two wrote in the caption.

Trainor previously spoke about how she reshaped her body by lifting weights while appearing on Today in December 2024. She said she started lifting after realizing she can be “stronger” and that her sons, Riley, 4, and Barry, 20 months visit her at the end of every workout.

Trainor also had breast augmentation at the beginning of 2025, opting for the Motiva SmoothSilk Ergonomix 290 mini implants, telling PEOPLE at the time it was something she’d been considering since her teens. The “All About That Bass” star said it was “the best decision I ever made.”

“I have never been more comfortable in my body,” she said. “Maybe it’s because I’m in my 30s now. I’ve been working with a therapist for a long time, trying to rewire my brain to love myself more. It’s always something like a work in progress…”

“I noticed with my new boobies, it’s helping so much …it makes me so much more confident,” she added.
