LinkedIn Offers Notion Trial as Part of LinkedIn Premium Subscriptions

LinkedIn’s added another benefit to LinkedIn Premium membership, by partnering with Notion to offer six months of free access to Notion’s app for paying members.

As explained by LinkedIn:

LinkedIn and Notion have partnered to bring you a smarter way to work and grow. LinkedIn Premium subscribers can now enjoy six months of free Notion Plus with AI for free. This offer is designed to empower professionals with tools to write, plan, and organize their work in Notion while unlocking new career opportunities through LinkedIn.”

That could be an attractive lure for some potential subscribers, though it is only a six-month trial, effectively, and not a permanent LinkedIn Premium addition.

It’s the latest sweetener that LinkedIn’s using to drive more paid subscriptions, as another element of its broader revenue push.

And LinkedIn Premium is one of the most popular social media add-on offerings. According to reports, LinkedIn Premium currently has around 175 million paying subscribers, which equates to around 18% of the platform’s total member base.

That’s a significantly higher amount than those paying for X Premium or Snapchat+, even besting YouTube’s Premium subscription offering.

The opportunity to improve your professional standing is a big carrot for LinkedIn Premium, while it also offers a range of variable add-on benefits, aside from LinkedIn-specific elements.

That’s clearly helping to boost Premium take-up, to at least some degree, with this new offer from Notion being another consideration in the mix.

So is LinkedIn Premium actually worth paying for? Well, it depends on what you’re doing in the app.

For job seekers, there are exposure and reach benefits, which can help to elevate your job search efforts, while there are also AI assistant tools that can help to improve your professional standing.

For creators and company pages, there are additional insights, InMail credits, custom CTA buttons, premium badges, and more.

So there are some potentially valuable elements, which could be worth considering.

These add-on offers provide another consideration for your subscription.
