With her new BMG album West End Girl still buzzing, U.K. artist Lily Allen has announced a nine-date North American tour in support of it next spring.
Allen will perform the project in its entirety at the gigs, which begin April 3 in Chicago and wrap April 28 in San Francisco. Click here for tickets, which are available for presale on Dec. 10-11 and will go up for the general public the next day.
West End Girl has drawn raves for its frank depiction of Allen’s tumultuous personal life, including her split from Stranger Things actor David Harbour. “It’s the pleasure of listening to a master storyteller who makes your jaw drop by seeming to have spilled all the tea almost at the outset, and then the tea just keeps on coming. Not since Boston in 1773, maybe, has anyone dumped it this massively, or this fulfillingly,” said Variety.
Allen will celebrate West End Girl with a Dec. 13 appearance on the Josh O’Connor-hosted episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, her first since 2007. She’ll sandwich the North American shows with extensive U.K. touring next year, starting March 2 in Glasgow. Dates are on tap through July 7 — Allen’s third performance at London’s O2 Arena.
