Lil Uzi Vert Taken to Hospital
On Tuesday (April 22), TMZ broke the news that Uzi fell ill during a recent visit to NYC and was taken to the emergency room. Emergency services were reportedly called to a hotel in Lower Manhattan for a “sick person” yesterday afternoon (April 21). Witnesses tell TMZ the rapper was seen being wheeled through the lobby of the hotel and was conscious at the time. Uzi’s girlfriend, former City Girls rapper JT, was reportedly also on the scene.
Video obtained by the celebrity news site purports to show the Philadelphia rapper being loaded into the back of an ambulance while members of their team block the view with umbrellas. Uzi was reportedly kept in the emergency room overnight. The reason for Uzi’s hospital visit and their current condition is unclear.
