Lil Nas X Reveals Why He Turned Down Working With Taylor Swift

Lil Nas X almost collaborated with Taylor Swift, but the project fell apart before coming to fruition, according to the rapper.

The “Old Town Road” hitmaker told E! News in an interview published on Friday, March 28, that he and Swift, 35, were set to make music together at one point.

“We were working on something,” Lil Nas, 25, shared. “She offered to let me try a verse on something, but I couldn’t catch a vibe for it, so it didn’t happen.”

Lil Nas isn’t ruling out working with the “All Too Well” singer sometime in the future, however. He added: “When it happens… Global. World. Tay-tay and Nassy.”
