Lil Baby yanked Jack Doherty’s diamond chain off his neck during a club appearance and refused to give it back, sparking a viral reaction.
The Atlanta rapper was caught on video unclasping the streamer’s necklace mid-conversation onstage, slipping it into his pocket while cameras captured the entire exchange.
Doherty, seemingly unaware at first, realized what happened only after Lil Baby had already jacked the chain.
Later, when Doherty confronted him outside as he was leaving in a Mercedes G-Wagon, the streamer asked, “I need my chain, bro.”
Lil Baby shut him down and responded, “Call the police. Lawsuit,” before driving off.
Doherty, visibly frustrated, turned to the camera and said, “It’s on camera, bro, like what? He thinks he can take my chain and get away with it. This is hilarious. There’s no way this is real.”
The video quickly made the rounds online, sparking a mix of ridicule and disbelief. Some users mocked Doherty for once again losing pricey jewelry, while others questioned whether the whole thing was staged for attention.
Earlier this year, Doherty claimed he was robbed of a $300,000 chain, and Lil Baby later offered to buy him a replacement.
Adding fuel to the speculation, Doherty posted the clip with the caption, “Lil Baby actually took my chain.”
Lil Baby then uploaded a video to Instagram flaunting the chain, which Doherty reposted with the caption “W lil baby.”
