Kate Hudson is celebrating turning another year older with a little love from her son!
The actress turned 46 on Saturday, April 19, and her eldest child, son Ryder Russell Robinson, marked the occasion by sharing a sweet throwback photo of the duo on his Instagram Stories.
The image shows the actress holding Ryder — who has floaties on his arms — from behind as they pose in an infinity pool against a lush background of green foliage. The 21-year-old posted the photo with audio of Scissor Sisters’ “I Don’t Feel Like Dancin'” song.

Ryder also shared a second photo of himself with his mom and two siblings — younger brother Bingham and sister Rani — adding the simple caption: “Momma bday!! ❤️.”
Hudson shares Ryder with her ex-husband Chris Robinson, Bingham, 13, with her former fiancé Matt Bellamy and Rani, 6, with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa.

Last month, Hudson appeared on Kylie Kelce‘s Not Gonna Lie podcast, where she spoke about the joys of having children.
At the time, Hudson revealed that she hasn’t fully shut down the idea of welcoming a fourth, or more, kids into her family.
“I could have so many kids,” the Running Point star told Kelce, 33. “I even think about it right now. I’m like, ‘Am I totally done?’ Because I just can’t imagine being done.”
“It’s a weird thing to think like, ‘Oh, no. I’m done having kids,’ when you love having kids,” she continued. “It gets a little scarier when you start to watch them, [and] when you start to have to let them go because you want them to love themselves, and then you want them to make good decisions out in the world.”
Added Hudson, “So, you get a little bit of that, ‘Oh, man. I just hope they are good.’ ”
