Jason Kelce on Kylie Kelce’s Past Pregnancy Loss, Miscarriage

Jason Kelce is detailing a difficult chapter for his family. 

The former Philadelphia Eagles player—who shares kids Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 7 months, with wife Kylie Kelce—recalled the emotional moment he learned that Kylie had suffered a pregnancy loss in 2018 before their four daughters were born.

“I remember it just being absolutely devastating,” Jason shared at the March of Dimes 43rd Sports Luncheon in New York Dec. 3. “Remember going out to my truck in the middle of practice and meetings, overcome with grief and emotion.”

However, the tragedy also helped him realize that he wasn’t alone in the experience.

“You really find out in moments like those how awesome sports are, how awesome teams are,” the NFL star continued. “There were so many people that shared with me—coaches, teammates, people within the Eagles building, friends of ours—and you really find out how prevalent this actually is, how often miscarriages happen. And it’s something a lot of times doesn’t get said and spoken about.”
