Chanel Marrow loves her mom.
In fact, Coco Austin and Ice-T‘s 9-year-old daughter penned a lengthy essay dedicated to her “glorious, precious, amazing” mother amid questions over the model’s parenting style.
“How much longer until I have with my mom,” Chanel read from her Notes app, as seen in a Nov. 15 Instagram video. “Sometimes that question drifts into my mind. Not because anything is wrong, but because loving someone so deeply makes you think about how precious every moment is.”
“I know I’m still young, but when I’m mad at my mom, I always think that some people in the world don’t even have a mom because they left for some odd reason,” she continued. “When I look at my mom, I don’t just see a parent. I see the person who has shaped my whole world, someone who fills my life with comfort, laughter and love. That feels bigger than anything else.”
Crediting Coco as “the one that helps everything with me,” Chanel went on to call the 46-year-old her “best friend and protector all in one.”
