Hulu’s Most Popular Movies and Shows — Here Are the 3 to Watch Right Now

Hulu doesn’t share too much information about its most popular shows and movies, but it does host a list of the top 15 on its home page.

Watch With Us has combed through those choices and delivered a verdict — of the top 15 movies and shows on Hulu, these are the ones you need to watch.

‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ (2014)

Cool gadgets, great action sequences and drama galore rule the day in this action movie that’s based on the graphic novel series of the same name. Taron Egerton (Rocketman) stars as Gary “Eggsy” Unwin, a mischievous street thief whose life is changed forever when his uncle Harry Hart (Colin Firth) recruits him into a secret training program. Kingsman, named after the elegant Savile Row shop that doubles as their secret headquarters, is an elite private intelligence service modeled after the Knights of the Round Table. (The agents all have code names like “Galahad” and “Lancelot.”)

If you don’t have a Hulu subscription by now, you’re missing out. The streamer has the best library of new and old series and a stellar lineup of shows in May. Hulu just premiered a thrilling new show, Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes, which fictionalizes a very real, very tragic event in […]

With its stellar cast (Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Hamill and Michael Caine all appear in supporting roles), quippy dialogue and James Bond-esque sensibility, it’s no surprise that Kingsman spawned two sequels. It’s also no shock that it’s a hit on Julu in 2025.

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ (2017-2025)

Based on Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name, The Handmaid’s Tale has been one of Hulu’s biggest hits since its premiere. This is largely thanks to the stellar performance of Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) as June Osborne, a “Handmaid” forced into sexual slavery after a religious authoritarian regime takes over the United States and renames it Gilead. Under this regime, Handmaids are deprived of their names and forced to take on the identity of the Commanders they serve. June is forced to live in the house of Gileadan Commander Fred Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) and his wife Serena Joy (Yvonne Strahovski).

June and her fellow Handmaids (Samira Wiley, Madeline Brewer and more) face horrific obstacles and even torture in their efforts to resist the sadistic Gilead regime. But they also show such incredible strength and perseverance that you can’t help but be inspired. The series’ sixth and final season is currently airing and receiving stellar reviews, with the series finale scheduled for May 27.

Nine Perfect Strangers is like HBO and Max’s hit series The White Lotus, except it’s not quite as good, leans more on shock value, and relies on stunt casting to attract viewers. But it was also incredibly fun and addictive to watch, and it gave star Nicole Kidman one of her campiest roles ever as […]

Bridesmaids writer and director Paul Feig reunites with cast members Melissa McCarthy and Rose Byrne in this hilarious and underrated action comedy. Susan Cooper (McCarthy) is a CIA agent who has only ever worked behind a desk, assisting her partner Bradley Fine (Jude Law, handsome and charming as ever). But when Fine is killed in action by the daughter of a mobster (Byrne), Susan steps up and goes undercover to catch his killer. Her fellow agent Ford (Jason Statham, who hilariously parodies his typical tough-guy character) is convinced she’ll screw it up, and after resigning in protest ends up joining her on the mission anyway.

Spy didn’t get quite as much love as Bridesmaids did in 2011, so it’s great to see it getting a second life on Hulu. You’ll enjoy the funny performances, unexpected twists and hilarious dialogue.
