While his mindset has been firmly in ping pong mode as of late, he still took a moment to share insight into how he felt about being among fellow 2026 Grammy nominees Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga and more. As he marked the feat on his Instagram Stories on the Nov. 7 nomination day, “Dream Big.”
But despite his tongue-in-cheek note on social media, the Little Women alum has been candid about what being surrounded by his peers—and receiving support for them—has meant to him during his career.
“I can’t downplay the significance of this award because it means the most to me, and I know we’re in a subjective business, but the truth is, I’m really in pursuit of greatness,” he said after winning Best Actor at the 2025 SAG Awards. “I know people don’t usually talk like that, but I want to be one of the greats. I’m inspired by the greats. I’m inspired by the greats here tonight.”
