GloRilla Set To Take Over WNBA All-Star Weekend

GloRilla will bring both street anthems and Southern flair to the national stage when she performs at halftime during the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis on July 19.

The Memphis rapper, who has quickly climbed the ranks in Hip-Hop, was tapped by the league to deliver a high-energy set at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, amplifying the entertainment factor of the weekend’s marquee event.

The league announced her performance on X, making it official ahead of the WNBA Live festivities. Game tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 P.M. ET and will air on ABC, ESPN+ and Disney+.

GloRilla’s halftime appearance places her in the thick of what’s expected to be one of the largest All-Star celebrations in league history.

Two of the WNBA’s brightest names, Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier, will captain the respective All-Star rosters after leading fans’ votes. Clark’s presence in her home arena adds another level of excitement to an already packed venue.

Adding to her momentum, GloRilla will headline her own show, the “Glo Bash,” on July 25 at Memphis’ FedExForum, marking her first major homecoming event.

Team Clark and Team Collier will feature standouts such as A’ja Wilson, Paige Bueckers, Sabrina Ionescu, and Aliyah Boston. Rhyne Howard and Satou Sabally, originally part of the lineup, were ruled out due to injuries, with Kayla McBride named as one of the replacements.

Beyond the basketball, event organizers have infused the game with innovative rules. A 28-foot four-point shot zone is back, live substitutions will occur mid-play, and a shortened 20-second shot clock is in effect.

Teams will receive automatic points for fouls outside the final minutes, removing free throws from most of the mix.

For viewers tuning in from home, the televised broadcast includes over 20 camera angles, mic’d-up players, and on-court interviews. Additional ESPN content will stream simultaneously across platforms.

The weekend also features WNBA Live, a multi-day fan experience packed with music performances, interactive games, and celebrity appearances, held from July 18 to 19 in downtown Indianapolis.

GloRilla takes the spotlight just before Team Clark goes head-to-head with Team Collier in what promises to be a fast-paced matchup on July 19.
