The updates just keep on coming for Instagram’s new video editing app “Edits,” with this latest round of improvements including expanded performance insights, improved audio editing, and refined sharing options from the app.
First off, Edits is getting more data on Reels performance to help you optimize your content approach.
As you can see in this example, now, you can access more info on accounts reached, while you can also filter your Reels listing by likes, comments, and/or saves, That’ll make it easier to measure the specific performance elements of each Reel, and understand what’s resonating for your goals.
Edits also now has a new way to reduce unwanted noise in your clips, and enhance voices in your Reels to make them stand-out.

As you can see in this example, you’ll now have new audio balance options via simple sliders, which will enable you to customize audio playback, and improve the presentation of your content.
Finally, you can now also more easily share your Edits creations to more places via an improved sharing UI.

A simplified sharing UI, with Meta’s apps highlighted as the key destinations, though other platforms are available within your various options.
In addition to this, you’ll also now be able to choose which exports you want to download, which could help you save data space on your device.
These are some handy updates, which go along with the weekly tweaks and changes that Meta’s added to the app since its launch back in April.
And it’s quickly becoming a must-have tool for all social media creators, providing a range of handy editing and refinement options to optimize your video content. Which is the best performing content type, across all social media apps, so if you’re not familiar with Edits yet, and you’re not creating video content, it could be best to make a move to change that.
