Djrum has released “Waxcap,” another new song from his forthcoming new album, Under Tangled Silence. It’s the third preview of the album, following “A Tune for Us” and “Three Foxes Chasing Each Other.” Check out the new track below.
“‘Waxcap’ started life as a solo piano improvisation, then a long while after that I returned to the recording to develop it into a full track,” Djrum explained in a press release. “Around that time I was often walking in the fields and forests near my home and was finding a lot of waxcap mushrooms, particularly snowy waxcaps.”
Under Tangled Silence, Djrum’s follow-up to his standout Meaning’s Edge EP, is out April 25. The British producer and DJ will support his album with a newly expanded tour of North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe. See Djrum’s tour dates below.
