DJ Seinfeld just came steaming into 2026. The Swedish DJ/producer and lo-fi house leading light has given official release to “Plush,” a single that’s been part of his live sets for a while now. Streaked with an array of synth hooks and a wispy vocal melody, the track’s main attraction is an intensely energized four-on-the-floor beat that’s laser-targeted for the club but seems bound to elicit a physical response in any environment.
Here’s the man himself explain what’s the deal with “Plush”:
I wrote “Plush” back in 2022 and played a couple of different versions of it throughout the year. I couldn’t really figure out what I felt was missing, so I binned it for a bit. Then I saw a couple of ripped versions on SoundCloud around the same time I was getting a lot of messages about it, so I decided to give it another go. Eventually I managed to bring it to a point where I’m really happy with it and enjoy playing it out”.
Listen below, and imagine what DJ Seinfeld could do with the Stone Temple Pilots song of the same name.
“Plush” is out now on Ninja Tune.
