The Love Thy Nader star responded to speculation that she and Ben Affleck had struck up a romantic relationship, offering a succinct explanation as to why the report doesn’t hold water.
Indeed, after gossip blogger Deuxmoi posted about the alleged pairing on Instagram, Brooks, 28, wrote in a Jan. 24 comment, “Haven’t met him in my life.”
Of course, the Dancing With the Stars alum—who dated her pro partner Gleb Savchenko on-and-off for seven months before they broke up in April—is used to addressing curiosity about who she’s dating. After she attended the US Open in August, Jimmy Kimmel was quick to inquire about rumors that she was romantically involved with tennis star Jannik Sinner.
“Are you dating Italian superstar Jannik Sinner?” he asked Brooks during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in September, to which she responded, “Is this an interrogation? I’m so scared right now.”
