Brittany Cartwright Shares Pic of Her Bandage-Wrapped Stomach

Brittany Cartwright shared a mirror selfie of her bandage-wrapped stomach, saying, “When they said ‘remove what no longer serves you,’ I took it literally💅” — sparking speculation as to which procedures she’d had done.

In a picture shared to Instagram on Oct. 5, the Valley star, 36 is wearing shorts and a blue button-down shirt, open to reveal what appears to be a compression bra and her stomach wrapped in white bandages.

Two drains hang from the white bandage wrapped around her torso — prompting fans to guess that she’d either had a tummy tuck, had her breast implants removed, or both. 

Cartwright shared scant concrete details about the procedure, opting for cryptic hints: “When they said ‘remove what no longer serves you,’ I took it literally 💅”. The comment led to the breast implant removal rumors. 

She went on to share, “In all seriousness, y’all know I always keep it real — and sooo…I did a thing💕 Something I’ve wanted to do for years and I finally took the step for me. I couldn’t be happier.”

“Still recovering, but feeling stronger (and lighter 😉) every day,” she wrote, leading to speculation that she’d had liposuction or a tummy tuck as well as implant removal. She hinted that she will share details, writing, “Can’t wait to share more with you soon! 💖✨”

Cartwright posted that her son Cruz, 4, was helping keep her spirits up, sharing a picture to her Instagram stories of a pink blossom in a bud vase, set atop a mirrored tray that also held prescription medication and a rake for a zen garden. “Cruzy picked me a flower from the garden to keep by my bed as I recover,” she wrote. “He comes in throughout the day to gently give me hugs and kisses.”

The Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test star, who shares Cruz 4 with her ex-husband Jax Taylor, 46, has said that her ex mocked her appearance, especially after the birth of their child. 

“This man degraded me, put me down, body-shamed me constantly,” she shared on a reunion episode of The Valley. “Literally called me a tree trunk because I had stretch marks.”

She’s recently been linked to a new partner, Brandon Hanson, whom The Valley costar Kristen Doute recently told PEOPLE is “very much approved of,” going on to say he’s “very wonderful and very cool. Very family-feeling.”

Doute commented on Cartwright’s post, and seemingly confirmed that Cartwright did, indeed, have her implants either removed, or swapped out: “My gorgeous girl! dropping that dead weight and went for the upgrade!!” She went on to tag two plastic surgeons, John Layke (@drjlayke) and  Payman Danielpour (@drpay), who reposted the picture, with the caption, “So excited for this Mommy and her makeover. Can’t wait for the reveal.”
