Blac Chyna is sharing a heartfelt letter to her son King Cairo for his 13th birthday.
On Thursday, Oct. 16, the rapper, 37, celebrated her son’s birthday with a lengthy Instagram caption, in which she shared some words of wisdom as her son — who she shares with ex Tyga — enters his teenage years.
“To my amazing son King Cairo,” Chyna (born Angela Renée White) began her loving social media caption. “From the moment you were born, you’ve worn your crown with curiosity, kindness, and courage. Today, as you step into your thirteenth year, I want to share a few words of wisdom to honor the King you are becoming.”
“Wisdom is not just knowing things, but choosing what’s right when it’s hard. Trust your heart, but listen to the good counsel of those who love you,” the proud mom wrote. “Compassion is strength. Lead with empathy, and you’ll inspire others to be their best selves.”

Alongside the words of wisdom, the Rob & Chyna alum shared photos of King, herself and her 8-year-old daughter, Dream — who she shares with ex Rob Kardashian — posing together over the years.
“Curiosity is a royal shield. Ask questions, explore, and never lose the wonder that lights up your eyes,” Chyna wrote in the caption. “Courage isn’t the absence of fear; it’s the decision to move forward even when it’s scary. You have a brave heart, Cairo.”
“Service is true greatness. Use your gifts to help others shine, and your legacy will be immeasurable,” she continued. “As you grow, remember: Dream boldly, but be patient with the steps it takes to reach them. Failures are lessons in disguise; they sharpen your wisdom and resilience. Your words have power choose them to heal, uplift, and build bridges.
Finishing off the lengthy caption, the mom-of-two wrote that King has “already shown the world what it means to lead with love, to laugh freely, and to dream without limits.”
“May this 13th year be filled with epic adventures, loyal friends, and countless moments that make your heart soar,” she ended the post. “Love, Mommy 🥳.”

The model welcomed King in 2012 with her then-boyfriend Tyga, 35. Following his birth, the couple got engaged before ultimately splitting in 2014.
Chyna went on to welcome Dream with her then-fiancé, Rob Kardashian, 38, in 2016. Less than six months later, the pair went through a highly publicized breakup. As of 2024, Chyna has 50/50 custody of both of her kids.
In August, Chyna spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about her family life with her two kids, and opened up about her children’s tight bond.
“King is definitely protective of Dream, and Dream of King,” Chyna told PEOPLE exclusively while promoting her biographical film, Pardon Me.

“He loves Dream,” she said. “He loves to annoy her. He literally gets a kick out of it, but it’s so funny and so cute because growing up … I’m an only child, so to watch them I’m like, ‘Dang, this is what I missed out on.'”
“Even though some of the stuff that they do to each other is so hilarious to me, I’m like, ‘You can’t do that or you can’t say that.’ In the back of my mind, I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh,'” she joked.
At the time, the reality TV star told PEOPLE that “motherhood is everything” to her.
“God chose me to be Dream’s mom and King’s mom, like what?” she shared. “He knew what he was doing.”
“It is everything for me because it’s these little people that I get to really show them the ropes and tell them everything that I know while still guiding them and letting them be their own authentic selves,” she added. “And letting them still be children.”
