Miley Cyrus will unveil 13 new songs this spring on her next album, Something Beautiful, which will be released May 30 through Columbia Records. Per an Instagram post, the project was executive produced by Cyrus in tandem with previous collaborator Shawn Everett.
Something Beautiful is the follow-up to 2023’s Endless Summer Vacation, which hit No. 3 on the Billboard 200. It spawned the monster chart-topping single “Flowers,” which won Record of the Year and Best Solo Pop Performance at the 2024 Grammys.

Something Beautiful‘s cover was shot by photographer Glen Luchford and is said to embody “a striking nod to the album’s bold aesthetic and visual storytelling.” The album can be pre-ordered here in a variety of formats, including two collectible-laden boxed sets.
Cyrus previously told Harper’s Bazaar that Something Beautiful would also serve as a visual album inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall. “It was important for me that every song has these healing sound properties,” she said. “The songs, whether they’re about destruction or heartbreak or death, they’re presented in a way that is beautiful, because the nastiest times of our life do have a point of beauty.”
Since Endless Summer Vacation, Cyrus has popped on a Talking Heads tribute album, been nominated for a Golden Globe for her contribution to the movie The Last Showgirl and covered Queen and Sinead O’Connor as part of the recent Saturday Night Live anniversary specials.
