The Beatles’ cinematic universe is expanding. Each member is getting their own Sam Mendes-directed biopic, slated for release in April 2028, with Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison. A couple months ago, we learned that their wives would be played by Anna Sawai, Saoirse Ronan, Aimee Lou Wood, and Mia McKenna-Bruce. Today, more names have been officially linked to the cast.
The new reveals include David Morrissey as Paul McCartney’s father Jim McCartney, Leanne Best (niece of early Beatles drummer Pete Best!) as John Lennon’s Aunt Mimi, James Norton as manager Brian Epstein, and Harry Lloyd as music producer George Martin. Other castings: Bobby Schofield as road manager and trusted music business executive Neil Aspinall, Daniel Hoffman-Gill as road manager and personal assistant Mal Evans, Arthur Darvill as journalist, publicist, and producer Derek Taylor, and Adam Pally as contentious music manager Allen Klein.
