There’s a photo floating around my mom’s house of me at 10 years old in a pink-and-black polka-dot monokini that screams the ’60s. I’ve always loved the photo because this particular swimsuit was my all-time favorite — not to mention proof that, once upon a time, I did actually wear swimsuits that showed my stomach. In recent years, though, I’ve leaned towards one-pieces with strategic ruching or ruffles to hide my curves and perk up my 38DD chest.
While perusing Amazon’s best-selling swimsuits recently, I happened upon the Eomenie Cutout One-Piece Swimsuit. On a whim, I decided to purchase it in color-blocked hot pink, since it was the retailer’s number-one style and super affordable at just $37. I’ll admit I scoffed as I added it to my cart, since I held no hope that it would flatter or support my 38DD chest or curvier hips and waist. When it arrived, I pulled it on without fanfare — and then actually gasped out loud when I stared at my reflection in my double-mirrored closet doors.

How this super soft, stretchy nylon swimsuit flatters my body is beyond my wildest dreams. It has a deep V-neckline that accentuates my décolletage, while the spaghetti straps cross at the back and adjust to sit on my shoulders without digging in or slipping. While I’ve typically removed shaping pads from swimsuits and bras, I actually like keeping them in for this one, since they help support and separate my breasts.
The faux-wrap front has wide sash ties at the back, and the high waist has strategically-placed ruching to further flatter my curves. While I know that cheekier swimsuits are all the rage these days, I still prefer my butt to be covered. The full-coverage bottom does exactly that while still looking sexy. And the cutouts, oh, the cutouts. Somehow they let my skin peek through without rippling over the swimsuit, showcasing any rolls, or awkwardly cutting off my short torso. Bikinis or cutouts aside, it’s the first bathing suit I’ve actually wanted to wear in years. In fact, I even wore it during a recent trip to Punta Cana, and couldn’t believe the amount of compliments coming my way.
People
The cutout swimsuit is available in a wide range of colors and prints. Since it’s so inexpensive, I have my eyes on at least a few more, including the pale pink and black, color-blocked blue, plum, and red. It comes in standard sizes XS–XXL and 18-22 Plus. For reference, I own it in XL, which fits my curves perfectly.
I’m far from the only person singing the praises of this one-piece swimsuit, since it’s racked up almost 12,000 five-star ratings. Over 1,000 reviewers alone deemed the swimsuit “flattering” — and, like me, many of them commented on how great they felt as soon as they slipped it on. “It smooths and shapes nicely without the uncomfortable compression you sometimes get in similar suits,” said one shopper. “The cutout design is stylish without being too revealing, striking a perfect balance between trendy and tasteful.”
A 34F shopper who owns the cutout swimsuit in three colors called it a “major confidence booster,” adding that it “look[s] amazing on.”
Multiple shoppers who wear a size DD raved about the bathing suit, too. “The top gives you plenty of support without the discomfort of underwire,” one reviewer noted, while others said the ruching is “very flattering,” and their breasts “stay put” even during jumping jacks.
I never thought I could actually look forward to swimsuit season, but thanks to the Eomenie Cutout One-Piece Swimsuit, I finally do. Snap it up for $37 at Amazon, then keep scrolling to shop a few more similar styles, below.
