Our summer goal is to only wear styles that are breathable beyond belief. 

And thankfully, it’s totally achievable with a caftan, the breezy style that you need now more than ever. In lieu of tight dresses or rigid denim that causes sweat to puddle up in undesirable places, a looser and roomier piece with a little more fluff is better for beating the heat. 

Caftans, which usually feature tropical prints, also scream vacation-wear (just look at Parker Posey and Leslie Bibb in season 3 of The White Lotus) — you can wear them to the pool, during some al fresco dining, and more.

On a blistery-hot day, long sleeves aren’t desirable. As an alternative, we’d suggest this caftan from Eileen West. The length is also shorter, and the V-neckline allows more airflow for those heat flash-affected areas.
