LinkedIn Now Has a Searchable Database of All Promoted Jobs


LinkedIn’s expanded its Ad Library database of all the ads that it’s hosted in the app, with a new Job Library segment, which provides the same oversight for its paid job listings.

As you can see, you can now search through all the promoted positions from any business, with various options to hone in your list.

LinkedIn Job Library

As explained by LinkedIn:

LinkedIn’s Job Library is a publicly available database that gives you information about paid job posts that have run on LinkedIn. Using the Job Library, you can search for paid jobs by company, keyword, country and date range.”

The database includes all jobs that have been listed on LinkedIn since April 2025, with LinkedIn keeping all promoted job listings active in the tool for one year after the post is closed.

As part of our commitment to creating a safe and trusted ad experience, the Job Library includes information about ads served on LinkedIn, including the job post, company name, payer name, whether the job is restricted and dates the job was open on LinkedIn.”

In addition to basic job ad listing info, LinkedIn’s Job Library also displays additional information about targeting, impressions, and details about restricted job posts (within legal parameters).

“For paid job posts in the European Union, the LinkedIn Job Library shows the targeting parameters selected by the job poster when posting their job. Job posts are visible to all members and not targeted to the same extent as ads.”

This means that EU listings include additional information about the location the ad was targeted to, and the selected skills used in targeting.

LinkedIn also includes job ad impression info for EU job posts, including the estimated total impressions and impression breakdown by country.

Which, really, is a logical expansion of its transparency listings.

LinkedIn launched its Ad Library in 2023, in line with evolving data transparency requirements, and this expansion further clarifies the full scope of LinkedIn’s paid promotional offerings, ensuring greater transparency across the board.

And it could also be a handy research tool, providing more insight into how different businesses have looked to boost their open positions, and what types of skills are in high demand. I mean, a lot of that info is available in Recruiter already, but there may be ways to tap into these additional insights to further inform your hiring approach.
