Diddy‘s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, took the stand to testify against the music mogul in his sex trafficking trial today.
Cassie Testifies Against Diddy
On Tuesday (May 13), the second day of the highly publicized Diddy trial took place in federal court in Lower Manhattan. During Tuesday’s hearing, the prosecution’s star witness, former R&B singer Cassie, testified about the physical, sexual and emotional abuse she suffered while in a 10-year volatile relationship with the embattled music mogul.
After breaking down in tears before she was even questioned, Cassie told the jury she and Puff would get into arguments that would end with him assaulting her. The singer says she was “confused [and] nervous” when Diddy first asked her to set up sexual encounters with male escorts, but she “wanted to make him happy,” Inner City Press reports.
The events would take place in different locations, Cassie said, including Diddy’s homes, hotels and abroad. Diddy’s assistants would buy the supplies for the freak-off events. Cassie told the court that the freaks-offs became a full-time job and would occur on a weekly basis for years. She revealed that the longest one lasted four days. She stated that she became afraid to say no because Diddy would grow violent and because he possessed blackmail material against her. Cassie confirmed she turned over some of the material to the government in the form of a laptop.
Cassie confirmed that baby oil and Astroglide lube were used in abundance and drugs like Ketamine, GHB and mushrooms were used by participants, including herself and Diddy. She also claims she was forced to participate in the events with male escorts and other women, even during times when she was on her period. The singer recounted being urinated on by Diddy and others at the parties against her will.
She also testified about the infamous video that shows Diddy assaulting her in the hallway of the Intercontinental Hotel in 2016. She confirmed the incident happened after a freak-off party.
Day two of the trial ended with Cassie still being questioned by the prosecution. Her testimony will continue on Wednesday (May 14).

Diddy Trial Continues
Following just over a week of jury selection, Diddy’s sex trafficking trial began on Monday (May 12). During opening arguments, the prosecution told the jury they would prove the Bad Boy Entertainment founder ran a criminal enterprise, where he coerced women and men into participating in wild sex marathons known as “freak-offs” or “Wild King Nights” through power, threats and violence.
Diddy’s legal team countered that he lives a swinger lifestyle and has a large appetite for sex, but is innocent of the crimes against him. After turning down a plea deal, Diddy is facing 15 years to life in prison if found guilty. The trial is expected to last around two months.
