Diddy‘s legal team admits during the opening arguments of Puff’s sex trafficking trial that he often hired male sex workers.
Opening Statements in Diddy Trial
On Monday (May 12), opening arguments started in the much-publicized Diddy sex trafficking trial. During day one, Diddy’s attorneys proclaimed the music mogul’s innocence. They shot down the notion that he forced people to participate in drug-fueled sex marathons, known as “freak-offs” or “Wild King Nights,” countering that he lives a “swinger” lifestyle and would often hire male sex workers, Rolling Stone reports. That in itself does not constitute sex trafficking, they argued. They claimed that the mogul has a huge appetite for sex, which he fulfilled with consensual sex parties.

Prosecutors Lay Out Case Against Diddy
The prosecution rolled out its case as well. They claim that for years, Diddy put on wild sex parties and used power, money, influence and violence to get people to participate and cover up his crimes. Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend and the government’s star witness, will testify along with others about the abuse she suffered at the hands of Diddy and the inner workings of his sex party empire.
During one such party, Diddy allegedly paid a male sex worker to pee in Cassie’s mouth while Puff watched, Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson told the jury on Monday. The government says it has evidence to back up its claims of Diddy’s crimes, including testimony fron other alleged victims, texts, items confiscated during the raids on Diddy’s homes last March and the infamous video of Diddy assaulting Cassie at the Intercontinental Hotel in 2016.
The trial is expected to last eight to 10 weeks. If found guilty, Diddy could face spending the rest of his life in prison.
