When Ed Sheeran unearthed dozens of 2015 gems from his old phone earlier this week — ahead of his aptly named new single, “Old Phone” — he included a handful of never-before-seen photos of Taylor Swift, whom he has been close friends with for more than a decade.
Among the uploads of Swift — which include a selfie of the duo and a shot of the “Fortnight” singer holding up two slices of pizza — Sheeran also posted a photo of homemade jam from Swift, who used the jar’s label to mock Kanye West’s infamous interruption at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

“Yo Ed — I’m really happy 4 you and I’m gonna let you finish but this is the best jam of all-time. — T,” the 14-time Grammy winner wrote on the label, referencing West’s infamous dig at her while turning it into an inside joke.
Fans were loving it — and their all-caps responses indicated just how much.
“THE KANYE SHADE HELP TAYLOR,” one person commented on the picture.
“SHE THREW THE BEST SHADE,” another agreed.
“SHES GOT JOKES 😆,” wrote a third fan.
As fans remember, West stormed the stage at the 2009 VMAs to interrupt Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video, taking the mic from her to declare: “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!” (As the camera panned to Beyoncé in the audience, the “Formation” artist looked stunned and appeared to say “Oh, Kanye!” in response.)
