An internet comedian who got paws put on him by NBA player DeMar DeRozan throws Drake into the drama.
DeMar DeRozan Roughs Up Comedian at Restaurant
On April 19, internet comedian and author Denzel Kissmayoo shared a video online that shows him walking up to the Sacramento Kings guard in a restaurant in Calabasas, Calif. In the clip, which can be seen below, Kissmayoo thrusts his phone into the unsuspecting hooper’s face and says, “Yo, DeMar, they trying to kick me out for no reason.”
DeRozan immediately grabs the man’s phone and a tussle ensues. In another video of an alternate angle, Kissmayoo is on the ground with DeRozan over him while people plead with DeRozan to stop. Kissmayoo eventually rises from the ground and begs DeRozan to give back his phone. The baller does not comply.
“When Your Favorite Basketball Player is Demar Derozan: You Might End Up in The Hospital,” Kissmayoo captioned the post.
Kissmayo later shared a video of himself in the back of an ambulance.
“I just Get Attacked & Body Slapped By DeMar DeRozan,” he captioned the clip. “Don’t Meet Your Hero’s Kids : I Don’t think @champagnepapi will like this Behavior: I think Drake Won the Rap Battle.”

Why Is Drake Being Thrown Into This?
Drake and former Toronto Raptor DeMar DeRozan were good friends for years. However, Drizzy appears to have been turned off by the Compton, Calif. native showing up on stage at Kendrick Lamar‘s Pop Out: Ken & Friends show last June. DeRozan also makes a cameo in the “Not Like Us” music video.
Last November, Drake dissed and mean-mugged DeRozan when the Kings came to Toronto for a regular-season game. In February, Drake threw a DeRozan jersey off stage during a tour stop in Australia.
