It’s not exactly everyone’s dream to see their mom getting cozy with another celebrity — let alone one in bunny ears. But when Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus hard-launched their romance on Easter, the 59-year-old English actress’ son, Damian Hurley, handled it like a pro.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, April 20, Elizabeth shared a snap of herself and the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer leaning against a fence in an open field, with Cyrus, 63, planting a kiss on her cheek. “Happy Easter ♥️,” the Austin Powers icon captioned the post.

In the picture, Cyrus wore an oversized denim shirt and lime green bunny ears, while Elizabeth rocked a plaid button-down, cowboy hat, and a huge smile.
The verdict from Damian? Just two emojis: “🥳♥️.”
While it appears the 21-year-old — whom Elizabeth shares with the late Steve Bing — is on board, not all of the Bedazzled star’s followers were supportive.
“Nooo!! Just nooo! Run Elizabeth,” one person wrote.
“Is anyone else wondering why she’s not seeing the 🚩🚩🚩,” another added.
“Damn did all the other single men on earth die or what,” wondered a third.
“What in the Hannah Montana is going on 😮,” someone else joked.
“Oh 😕 who else totally did not have this one on their 2025 bingo card?” chimed in another.
It’s not crystal clear where the backlash for Cyrus is coming from, but his personal life has made headlines over the past few years.
The country artist has been married three times — first to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991, then to Tish Cyrus from 1993 to 2022, and most recently to Firerose, whom he married in October 2023 and divorced less than a year later.
Billy Ray’s breakup with the 36-year-old Australian singer was far from amicable. According to court documents obtained by People in June 2024, Billy Ray accused Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Hodges, of physical and emotional abuse and filed for an annulment citing fraud.
The award-winning singer also claimed Firerose made nearly $100,000 in unauthorized charges after their split and alleged she threatened to damage his career if he left her. Firerose denied the allegations and said she felt “unsafe” living with him.
