Travis Kelce Sends Bold Message to Husbands of Taylor Swift Fans

Travis Kelce has something to say to the husbands of Taylor Swift fans. Especially when it comes to Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson’s partners, who couldn’t stop raving about Swift’s July 2024 Eras show in London.

Andrews and Thompson recently featured their respective husbands Jarrett Stoll and Steve Cundari on their Calm Down podcast, during which Stoll and Cundari expressed their awe and respect for Swift’s performance, stamina, and all-around “wild” production. (They also spoke about spending time with Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, and his wife, Kylie Kelce, at the show.)

More from Spin:

It was when the sportscasters — who have played a pivotal role in Swift and Travis’ romance — promoted the podcast episode on social media that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end sent a message to Stoll and Cundari.

“The Plus Ones are here!” Andrews and Thompson captioned a clip from the episode. “@stolly28 & @stevencundari join the show for lots of laughs & setting the record straight!

Travis, for his part, commented: “Shoutout to The Plus Ones!!! 👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻.”

While it was clear if the NFL star was referring to Stoll and Cundari, his message can also be interpreted as both a nod to himself (and his role as a “plus one” to Swift), or even to all Swifties’ “plus ones” at her concerts. His comment also prompted fans to request that Swift join the Kelce brothers’ own podcast, New Heights, as his own plus one. (Kylie, who has her own wildly successful podcast, has appeared on New Heights multiple times, and while the Kelces occasionally mention Travis’ relationship with Swift, the singer herself has never made an appearance on the pod.)

As for how Andrews and Thompson helped shape the “Shake It Off” singer’s romance with Travis, Andrews — who has since become friends with the couple — sent a public message to Swift after Travis revealed in July 2023 that he attempted to give the 14-time Grammy winner his phone number after her Eras Tour show at Arrowhead Stadium.

‘”Taylor, do this for America. Date him,’” Andrews recalled saying on the podcast in a later interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“We’ll take the credit,” Thompson added. “I just love both of them, and I’m so happy to see them happy.”
