A graphic showing a Mount Rushmore of White rappers has the internet going nuts.
White Rapper Mount Rushmore Goes Viral
On April 10, graphic designer Shawn Vandergriff shared an illustration on Facebook, which he captioned “The White rapper Mount Rushmore.” The visual shows Eminem, Mac Miller, Paul Wall and Russ chiseled into the mountainside, as a representation of the best Caucasian spittas. The post has since gone viral and initiated a controversy and jokes online over the picks.
“Where’s Vanilla Ice?” someone responded in the comment section of the post on Facebook.
“With no MC search or beastie boys, this list is invalid,” another person posted.
“First 3 are valid. Aesop rock in place of Russ,” another rap fan wrote.
“It should be Marshall Mathers, Slim Shady, Eminem and B-Rabbit lol,” someone else joked.
Even rappers have been weighing on the list. On April 11, Russ chimed in about his entry in the post. “Somone with a Facebook tell me how insane the comment section is,” he wrote on X, along with two crying laughing emojis, referencing his polarizing presence in the hip-hop world.
Machine Gun Kelly was taken aback by being omitted from the list. The Cleveland rapper voiced his opinion on X. “Me not on the white rapper mt rushmore is blasphemy,” he tweeted on Sunday (April 13), along with a freestyle he did on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast in 2024.
