Taylor Swift has to say goodbye to one of the friends she’s made through her connection to the Kansas City Chiefs after a recent trade that was made by the team.
Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman was officially traded to the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday, March 18 and his fiance, Chariah Gordon, posted a few photos and words where she said her goodbyes to Swift, 35, and her other friends on Instagram the same day.

“I’m really going to miss y’all ,” she wrote on her Instagram Story post of a collage that featured the “Fortnight” singer. Swift can be seen with Gordon, 30, in a number of pictures, one of which the pop star posed and gave her a hug. A second snap features the songstress covering her mouth as she seemingly speaks to Gordon during a game. A third image in which Swift appears features the two posing in a group photo along with a number of friends.
Fans of the pop star took to a thread on X (formerly Twitter) to share their reaction to the trade and Gordon’s post on Instagram.
“I’m just finding out this very sad news noooooooo,” wrote one upset fan while a second simply wrote, “CHARIAH NO.” A third fan predicted, “Next year, I swear she’ll be the first to talk s**t about Taylor.”
Swift and Gordon reportedly met at her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s house in 2021 and have been friends since.
