Lala Kent Says She’s ‘Not Ready’ to Stop Having Kids Yet (Exclusive)

Lala Kent is loving this new era of her life — and she’s ready to keep it going.

The Vanderpump Rules alum, 34, caught up with PEOPLE ahead of her daughter Ocean’s fourth birthday and spoke about how much she’s enjoying this new chapter of motherhood. Kent, who welcomed her second daughter Sosa five months ago, tells PEOPLE that she just can’t believe how fast it’s all going.

“I’m like, ‘Where did the time go?’ When she had first appeared on Vanderpump Rules, [she was] just this tiny little bean, and now she’s a little person with all the personality in the world,” Kent says of daughter Ocean. “It feels really good.”

Ocean, who turned 4 on Saturday, March 15, spent the day at Disneyland with her dad, Randall Emmett. However, the weekend before her birthday, the toddler had the time of her life at a Minions-themed party.

“Most people when they get pregnant, they’re like, ‘Oh my god. When they start walking, I’m afraid. I need to baby-proof the whole house.’ My biggest fear was that I had to plan birthday parties,” Kent jokes.

She turned to Picnic + Petal to plan her daughters’ parties, and let them run wild with Ocean’s Minions-themed party. “Every party has been [Ocean’s] vision and what she’s wanted,” Kent says. “She picked all of her birthday parties besides the one where she turned 1 and had no say at all.”

It’s been a big year for Ocean, who became a big sister this past September when Kent welcomed her younger daughter Sosa. “She’s really sunk into her role as big sis,” Kent raves. “I think when Sosa first arrived, Ocean was like, ‘This is the most boring thing ever.’ I think she just thought, ‘Here’s your sister. She was born a baby, and she’ll never grow up.'”

“Now that Sosa’s developing a personality, sitting up, learning to jumble…she’s not talking, but she’s becoming a person,” the proud mom explains. “Ocean is thriving. Every time Ocean gets in trouble, she goes straight to Sosa and vents to her about her mom, and it’s just the perfect window into what my life is going to be like as they get older.”

Of course, it’s also been a big transition for Kent, who went from being a single mom of one to a single mom of two.

“I think because I prepared myself for it being absolute torture because people said one is great, two is no f—— joke. And so I was preparing myself for the worst, but I knew that this moment would be fleeting,” Kent says of adding another baby to her family. “It’s actually been a well-balanced transition. All hands are on deck.”

As for whether she thinks she’ll add another little one to her family, Kent is leaving the door open to the possibility.

“I play it by ear. I have not canceled out having one more,” she explains. “I think that I just, I’m not ready for that stage of my life to be over, you know, the having kids. The next time that my flesh and blood, I guess, in baby form would be when my girls have kids of their own. So I’m just not ready to be done with it, especially when I look at Ocean and Sosa as like brand new babies.”

“I’m like, ‘I got to have one more.’ Plus they’re so damn cute,” Kent says. “I just make cute kids.”
