As always, this year’s Miami Art Week, brought the convergence of global art fairs, cultural events, brand activations, and late-night bacchanals that transform the city into an around-the-clock cultural ecosystem. The 2025 edition brought together creatives and tastemakers across art, fashion, music, culture, gastronomy, and nightlife. The week began on a softer frequency with two days of healing, inspiration, movement, and recovery at The Wellness Oasis™ Presented by Chase at Reserve Miami Seaplane. By Wednesday night, focus shifted to Miami’s dining-as-culture scene at Maple & Ash Miami, where the restaurant’s new Nightcap series featured DJ sets and decadent dishes, including the Espresso Martini Tower and Fire-Roasted Seafood Tower – emerging as indulgent visual centerpieces.
Thursday carried the creative momentum across Miami Beach, beginning with Disco + Design’s Listening Salon featuring Mia Moretti’s new release being played on vinyl via hi-fi speakers, before venturing to the SCOPE Art Show’s sprawling tents on Ocean Drive to view high-end art pieces, listen to cultural vanguards speak on Kickstarter x SCOPE’s panel series, and dance the night away at SPIN’s ‘Back to Basics’ 40-Year Anniversary Party. The night closed with Dixon at MILA Lounge, where Miami’s upper echelon caroused over top-shelf bottle service, underground grooves and after-dark revelry.
On Friday, CASA NEOS hosted the U.S, debut of Shellona St. Tropez, bridging the French Riviera’s beach-club institution with Miami’s riverfront nightlife with a special Sunset Rituals session soundtracked by Adriatique alongside Shellona’s artistic director, John Bellone. The evening flowed into Art With Me at the RC Cola Plant, a two-day music and arts festival built around immersive installations, community, and creative expression.
Saturday brought the conversation into focus with Disco + Design’s Culture Talk, Still Spinning: The Lasting Imprint of ’70s Design + Sound, staged in a sculptural, cinematic space inspired by a 1970s curator’s listening den. At night, Miami transformed into a house and techno haven; careening from The Martinez Brothers’ three-hour headlining performance at RESISTANCE Miami’s Art Week Takeover at M2 Miami, to Seth Troxler’s spellbinding Circoloco sunrise set at Factory Town, before finally landing at Club Space for Solomun’s marathon, 12+ hour performance that stretched well into Sunday evening.
And finally, the week concluded where so many Miami Art Weeks do: on the Terrace at Space for its legendary 33+ Hour Space Basel Closing Party – a final communion where time dissolved and the city’s pulse became the only constant.
