Late last year, Peaer returned with their first new song in half a decade. After another year, they popped back up with news of a new album, doppelgänger. They’ve got another single out today ahead of the project’s January release, and it may be my favorite of the bunch so far. “Bad News” moodily snakes its way through melodic pathways that feel almost classical (and certainly classic) en route to somewhere more like depressive power-pop. It’s sort of like if Pedro The Lion went Paisley Underground. Listen below.
